Ceylon Cinnamon is a high-quality cinnamon known for its delicate, sweet and slightly spicy flavor. It is often referred to as "true" cinnamon, as Korintje and Vietnamese Cinnamon is technically from the cassia tree. Ceylon Cinnamon is prized for its superior taste and aroma. Ceylon cinnamon is typically thinner and has a lighter color than cassia. Ceylon Cinnamon is also known for its potential health benefits, including improved digestion and blood sugar control. Ceylon Cinnamon's flavor is more subtle making it a good choice for spice blends and Asian cooking.
