Amchur, aka Amchoor and Mango Powder, is made from dried, unripe mangoes. It adds a tart, citrusy flavor to dishes, and is a popular ingredient in traditional Indian marinades, curries, stews and chutneys. Amchur is versatile and can be used in a variety of dishes. Amchur pairs well with chile powders, cloves and coriander.
